But what other qualities might we include?
The sight and smell of fallen leaves on a stagnant pond?
The crackle of a fire burning leaves?
The sound and smell of cold, fall rain dousing the earth?
The chill of a hard autumn frost?
The crash of the waves in a stormy ocean?
The sound of inflating balloons inflating at the Albuquerque Int'l Balloon Fiesta?
Or the dazzling eye-candy of early Christmas lights?
Get inspired and cover all aspects of your autumn scene!!

I just had to read your post about Fall, because this really is my least favorite time of year. But on the positive side, I do love that last picture of the tree! lol
Thanks, everyone!
And Jo-Jo, fall used to be the most depressing time of year for me as well. Seemed that was when all the bad stuff happened. I think it finally grew on me.
Interesting that fall eventually "grew" on you, Diane! It's not my favorite time of year, but when you look upon pictures like those you have posted, you have to admire the beauty!
Great fall reminders!
Great pics, Dianne, especially the last one. Autumn also brings early darkness, when I get out of work at 5.

Thanks! The last photo is one of my most popular on Deviant Art.
Autumn is my favorite season of them all. And I live in Minnesota so I do truly get every season here!
Wow- lovely pictures. What a great way to think about adding season to your work. Thanks for sharing!
