And finally, a brief commentary on the woman with eight new babies...
She's $50 thousand in debt and on welfare
She has six other kids
She's unmarried and there's no father
What idiot doctor implanted this woman with so many babies?!?!?! Experts say that's well above standard. It's not like she couldn't have kids. How did she pay for it?
And now she's milking the media and asking for donations.
This woman is whacked!
Not surprisingly, social services is investigating...

Oh, don't even get me started on the quintuplet's mom. I'm trying to be tolerant but I also believe in personal responsibility.

And, yes. Your support is appreciated, Diane!

The word "irresponsible" doesn't even begin to cover that woman and the doctor who implanted her. She doesn't deserve the death threats she's getting though. That's a whole different kind of insanity.

You're right, Mike! It's like those people who burn down abortion clinics and threaten the lives of doctors who perform abortions. "We're against taking lives, so we're taking yours?" Makes no sense!

Thanks for all the links.

As for the mother of the 14 kids, I can't even begin to imagine what goes on in her head. I wish the media would quit feeding the insanity.

Totally off the wall eclectic and informative post. I'm a bit dismayed at the multiple mother mayhem - who's supporting all those babies - us? with our tax dollars?

I'm with Helen, the media should back off. And here's a real touchy subject that I'm sure won't win me any friends.
What about couples, or single women who can't have children and get help from what every method allows them to get pregnant and have multiple children who have multiple, life long health problems that cost insurance companies thousands of dollars.
I understanding wanting a child but what about adoption? I buy my own health insurance and still can't afford to see a doctor.
