A to Z Challenge - Helping Others

For the A to Z Challenge, I’m posting promo and other tips for writers, along with a daily photo. (All photos taken by me.)

*And I will visit everyone this evening - I have a seminar to teach this morning and will not be back until late afternoon.

For this topic, I thought I’d give you an example of some really helpful people:

Michael Di Gesu
(And Michael is doing a feature on my book today!)

These five always go out of their way to help others and put the spotlight on someone else. All of them possess great attitudes and giving spirits. They are real champions.

True success is based on how many people are richer for knowing us.

Who are you helping today?

I completely agree. Help others to help yourself, but also help because it's just plain the right thing to do!

Michael's intro for your book today was great. It's always good to help others when we can.

Helping others is huge. I keep trying to find groups of authors to join so I can help and be helped, but I've had zero luck in finding people who don't flake out.

I help someone every day. I work with handicapped people. It gets old sometimes.

You're a big help too. I've had a few people visiting me, from comments I've made on your blog - according to the stats I just checked that just now bought me here - thanks. I try to be helpful by writing how much I enjoy their blog when I reply to the comments left on my posts. I'm so grateful for A-Z it's really incredible

I am thankful for all the help I got from some of those people. I like to help others, though I am rarely vocal about it, it makes me feel good knowing I helped someone out there.

They really are helpful! And so are you!

Have a great day!

Oh, thank you do much L. Diane! I am honored to be in such amazing blogging company!

Oh man, I'm not at ALL sure I deserve to be up there with those folks, but I truly appreciate it, LD!

I thank the writing 'community' (not just the specific people that help me with a particular story) in the acknowledgements of all my books for a reason: You all give me so much inspiration, courage, camaraderie, and knowledge on a constant, daily basis--I truly wouldn't be doing this without all of you. (You're very much in that 'you', btw, LD. :)

Any small thing I'm able to do to repay that, I sincerely do with a smile on my face.

Always appreciate someone saying nice things about me, though. :D Thank you!
