And Now For Something Completely Different...

Today's special: Spam, spam, and more spam! In the news this week: Author Jeremy Robinson explains how one should market: Marketing Tips For Authors Win a free copy of Bonnie Grove's "Talking to the Dead": Fiction Matters Pete Masterson explains why publishers should avoid mass market paperbacks: View From the Publishing Trenches “The Bare Truth About Writers” - those who work in the nude! Today is also my anniversary - 18 years!
This is us on our wedding day in Albuquerque, New Mexico. (Yes, Spunky used to be a blonde!)
 This is us today!
(Taken last year in Atlanta by author Darlene Wofford.)
And we shall celebrate with dinner and a movie - "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"
Aren't we romantic?
And since everyone seemed to enjoy the New Bern, NC pictures earlier this week, let me wrap up this post with a couple more from Tryon Palace Historical Sites & Gardens!

BeeeahYOUteeful photos! Rather handsome couple, too. :) You two are aging gracefully together, love to see love survive and flourish - congrats on 18, Diane & DH, may you have many more.

  2. Thanks for the links and for the mention. Happy Anniversary!

  3. Got a bang out of the naked writers story. I'm too cold-natured for that. Maybe I could write in a sauna. Of course, using a laptop should keep me warm.

Congrats on the anniversary. Enjoy the movie.

  4. Oooh, I like the bubbling water pic. Thanks for all the links, even the naked writers one!

Congratulations, Diane! A night with Hugh Jackman is a pretty good way to spend an anniversary.

  6. Thanks, everyone!

And yes, love the Hugh Jackman!

  7. Happy Anniversary, lovely pics.

  8. Happy anniversary!! Cheers!

  9. Happy anniversary, Diane! Thanks for sharing the photos.

  10. I know I am the odd duck out on SPAM issues but I really don't want a machine censoring what I get in the mail. I'd rather just use the delete button and say "bye bye!" I don't want to miss something important or have anyone thinking I am ignoring them.

On the other hand, I've been known to make my own errors on choosing what is SPAM and what isn't. (-:

  11. Love the wedding and current pics. Thanks for sharing the other photos too. Fun post to read.

  12. Fortunately, Carolyn, that 'spam' is the edible kind!

  13. Diane,

Happy anniversary. Your photos are great and I enjoyed looking at them.
