Literary Book Gifts Gloves

I received these Cashmere Writing Gloves from Literary Book Gifts in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve seen writing gloves before and often they are like gloves with the last inch of the fingers cut off.

These have only a hole for the thumb, which gives you more flexibility. They are also thin enough so you don’t feel all bulked up and have trouble writing or using the mouse. And they are very soft.

I am very cold natured and in the winter it’s tough to keep my hands warm. These certainly do the trick.

You can choose from 13 different colors such as heather purple, blush pink, or black.

The only downside to these gloves is the price. They are $52.00 US retail. Compared to the other items on the site, which are kinda neat, it’s a bit overpriced. However, order several items with it, and the flat rate shipping is just $5.00 to the US, which isn’t bad.

You can get your own pair here.

Do you need or have a pair of writing gloves?

Hi Diane - I know some people really suffer with the cold ... even in Spring they'll appear wrapped up to the gunwhales ... I'm just grateful I can manage without them. But they must be so helpful ... interesting post to read - cheers Hilary

Never heard of writing gloves. Boy, that's expensive! You'd have to have really cold hands to make getting them worthwhile.

That is really expensive even if they do keep you warm.

Ouch, that is pricey but they sure are cool looking. Never heard of them before.

How purrfect! My fingers don't get cold, but I have problems with my thumb and could use a tiny bit of support.

I'm glad I got them for free. Don't need them now, but come November, I will be wearing them.

They are really nice.

I don't need a pair of writing gloves. (And if I did, I'd knit my own ;)

I'm usually cold too. These look nice, but I'd rather pay a fraction of that price for regular gloves and cut off the fingers.
Cheers.

I figured you could just do your own - and for much cheaper.

Smart idea. You'd need to find really thin ones though.

I never heard of these. They sound good, but my pocketbook would suffer. T

Probably the cashmere jacks up the price, and like others, I'd never heard of writing gloves, but it is a cool idea.

(And your review is much better than the unit I reviewed on my blog. Thanks for the birthday wishes, Diane:)

How cool, Diane ~ Or, perhaps, how warm would be more appropriate. In the winter I often warm my hands by hugging my hot coffee mug with them.

LOL!!!!!

Never even knew such a thing existed. I usually just have the heat cranked up, so fingers are toasty.

Writing gloves seem like a neat idea. I certainly don't need them in Florida, but if I lived someplace cold, I'd look into them.

My hands do get cold in the winter when I am writing. I can see how writing gloves would come in handy. Thanks for sharing. :)
