* MOVIE NEWS *

No new movie this week, but I am catching DAYBREAKERS today!

And AVATAR crossed 1 billion by Monday morning. Is that not wild???
Okay, who here had NOT seen this movie?
GO!!!!
For goodness sakes, I've seen it twice already!

* PHOTO OF THE DAY *

We purchased a kitty tree (the Penthouse Cat Tree) for Rocko & Spunky from Kitty Mansions When we went to put it together Christmas Eve, we discovered a piece was missing! I emailed Kitty Mansions and they mailed a new one right away. Props to them!
Once we got it together, Rocko declared it hers, and proceeded to go "nutsy-squirrelly" on it!

* VIDEO OF THE DAY *

This comes courtesy of  The Old Silly , who blogged about the health care reform bill yesterday. I'm not a country gal, but the tune is pretty catchy - and the message pretty funny!

Great links. I was on Blood Red Pen earlier.

Haven't seen Avatar yet. I generally don't get to the movie theater these days. I just wait for video, that way I can multi-task while watching things. Bad- I know, but there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I GOTTA go see Avatar! Glad you liked the Stevens clip - thanks for passing it on, too.

I'm reading the Publishing Industry Predictions. Fascinating stuff. The industry is changing fast, and it behooves authors to take advantage of an online presence and start building one now.

I still haven't seen Avatar. I can't seem to get past the trailer being shown on TV which looks perfectly awful to me. But, I'll probably end up going anyway.

But right now I'm going to check out these interesting sounding links.

Karen, so glad you got to see it!

Jane, don't judge it on the trailer. The first time I saw the trailer last August, I was disappointed. It didn't look that good, at least not the special effects. But in the theatre in 3D - WOW! It's breathtaking. And SO real.

Let us know about Daybreakers!

I can't talk my hubby into seeing Avatar with me - he hates anything even remotely connected with sci-fi. *sigh*

I thought Avatar was incredibly beautiful (shoulda seen it in Imax!), but I just wish the script and the plot had been a bit less cliched.

Sorry, but I have to say it, for us Brits, you have the rudest blog title ever! :)

Thanks for posting the great links. Love the kitty pic. Have a safe and happy weekend!

Roland, I know it has a slang meaning there, but several of my British friends it was a juvenille term at best and not to worry. The definition is pluck & courage, so I'm sticking with it!

I haven't seen Avatar yet. I'm sure I will at some point but I don't anticipate seeing it for a few weeks still.

I always love to see your kitties. Good thing you don't spoil them. ;-)

I liked Avatar, too. I'd recommend you not wait for it to come out on video unless by then you plan to have one of the new 3D TVs.

Love the links and the photo of the day. There is a 365 Days of Photos or something like that going on. One of these days, when the kids are moved out, I'd like to do that. I love taking photos, but no time. You know?

Now I am off to check out Ray Stevens. I am chuckling just thinking about it.

I love the cat tower photo! I also purchased one from http://www.cattowerstree.com/cat-towers/ which both my cats love! That is great that the retailer sent you a replacement, the one I bought was fine.
