When exploring your options as a writer...

Look beyond The Writer's Market. Look beyond the agent directory books. Explore The Literary Market Place in depth - it's a two-volume set, available in the reference area of most libraries and at a few book stores. Read Publishers Weekly - again, available in most libraries or subscribe to the magazine. Get several books on publishing so you understand all of your options, including Dan Poynter's The Self-publishing Manual. And do your research online! Check out Preditors & Editors before pursuing any publisher, editor or agent –
