NCAAW Tournament

"Did anyone see the final minutes of the Duke-Rutgers game?

"There was one second remaining on the clock and someone fouled Duke's best player, Lindsey Harding. Duke was down by only one point, so the whole game rested on this one young lady - and she missed both shots!

"It'll haunt her for awhile, but as the coach said, she can't let it define her as a player. After all, she was key to Duke's success up to that point. And the rest of the team could have scored more points before that final second, too!

"Besides, the Lady Blue Devils made it much further than the boys ..."

Hey Heather, I'm a little late getting here, but... yeah, that ending was a shocker. Well, Lindsey Harding is a terrific player with a bright future in the WNBA, the Olympics, wherever she goes. Sometimes things don't go your way, it's all part of the game. Lindsey will continue to represent the game of basketball at its best.

"Darn right! And if she keeps her wits about her, this won't destroy her future. In all the years I played, I saw many go down in flames. You can't be 100% perfect all the time - you just have to give 100%!
Never understood those who gave up. Seperates the women from the girls I guess!"

I'm sure that remembering those missed free throws will always be a painful memory, but it'll be just that: a memory. I can tell from her interviews that Lindsay Harding has a good head on her shoulders, and she won't have any trouble keeping things in perspective. "What doesn't kill you...," right?
