#IWSGPit is today - January 15, 2019
8:00 am - 8:00 pm Eastern Standard Time
Visit the #IWSGPit site for the rules and hashtags.
Dancing Lemur Press will be watching the feed, especially for #SF, #F, and #MG (with historical aspects.)
Last weekend we had a booth at IllogiCon VIII. We had a lot of interest in both the books and our prints, plus some asking for autographed copies (hint - work on that for the next con) and a couple people asking when Alex J. Cavanaugh’s next book would be out. (BIG HINT, ALEX!)
We got to meet fellow IWSG member, Samantha Bryant.
And here are some of the characters we met:
Are you participating in #IWSGPit? Dancing Lemur Press has signed two authors from this Twitter pitch party.
Loved the photo's Diane and yes, when is Alex's new book coming out?
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
You'll have to ask him when he's going to finish it.
DeleteHint taken! I'm working on it...
ReplyDeleteWrite faster.
DeleteSounds like an awesome event. And so cool that people are waiting for Alex's next book.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a really fun event! I'm glad for Alex - even if it means the pressure is on a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are fun on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteI wish there were more from the weekend, but this wasn't a big cosplay type of con.
DeleteLooks like a fun event! How cool that you got to meet Samantha.
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting out this Twitter pitch, but good luck to all participants!
Sure looks like a grand time. Hopefully Alex takes the hint haha
ReplyDeleteVery cool:)
ReplyDeleteFun pictures!
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures. No not participating. Fun.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures! Poor Alex is under pressure now ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Looking forward to Alex's next book too :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope to go to a con someday. Sounds like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy going just as much as having a booth there.
DeleteYou meet such fun characters at cons! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like Alex has a fan base:)
ReplyDeleteI dig your convention characters which I have to admit appeals to me because I know the lines of Star Trek. I'd go as one of Treks characters but I'd need someone else equally versed and willing to pull off the gig. Looks like you guys had great fun!
ReplyDeleteFun characters. I'm considering the pitch party. Thanks for the nudge.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Diane.
This looks like so much fun!

Now that looks like it was a ton of fun. How awesome to meet a fellow IWSG member. Even more amazing...people asking about Alex! He's a legend!
ReplyDeleteElsie
It was fun to meet Samantha. She pointed out all the authors' books she knew to her friend.
DeleteGreat pictures! I bet the Twitter pitch was a great success. So close, but I need my beta feedback first.
ReplyDeleteHi, Diane! I'm not ready for a Twitter Pitch, but I appreciate the IWSG for making the opportunity available for those who are. IllogiCon VIII looks like a fun event. I, too, want to know when Alex's next book comes out!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. Hope everyone at the Twitter Pitch are successful. No pressure on Alex, but your fans are waiting. :)
ReplyDeleteHow did the pitch party go?
ReplyDeleteHave a fun, productive weekend.
Those are fantastic pictures!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to meet an IWSG member :)
HA! Love the costumes. Looked fun!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteHere I go again, arriving after the festivities have happened. What a collection of characters. Wonder if Alex will write faster?
I'm going now....
Gary
Some great costumes.... looks like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's great that people want more of Alex's books! I'm sure he's busy writing.
ReplyDeleteIf you need me to autograph anything, let me know. I can certainly do that for the September show.
