Finally, there is this interesting article:
It’s definitely worth a read. My in-laws remember that pandemic – nothing shut down, everyone just cleaned better. "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." -Benjamin Franklin
A post with lots of information about self publishing.
ReplyDeleteThat was worth reading about the festival "Woodstock" going ahead during a pandemic.......wouldn't happen today as we have all found out.
Take care and keep safe Diane.
Yvonne.
Sadly, no it didn't.
DeleteHi Diane - thanks for all the links and knowledge ... take care - your publishing webinars will be so useful to many ... all the best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteHope you get a lot signed up for the webinars.
ReplyDeleteThe bigger difference with woodstock era though as things weren't as connected. People bought local more, wasn't as many big box stores or fast food places, and stuff like that so the spread wasn't as bad.
ReplyDeleteThat is very true. Hopefully we buy a lot less from China after this.
DeleteGreat post, Diane. Good luck with your webinar and thanks for sharing the BIWC'S news!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome!
DeleteGood luck with the webinar. Hope I can attend if you do it another time.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can, too.
DeleteThe webinars sound great - I'm hoping to clear my schedule for the promo ones!
ReplyDeleteWould love to have you join us.
DeleteExcited for your webinar on How to Promote Your Book in June! Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteReally glad you are tuning in for that one.
DeleteI do not remember the epidemic during Woodstock. I'm not even sure I heard about ti. But then I was in a remote part of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia doing field work and at university in a different part of NS. I'm looking forward to your webinars!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI also didn't know Woodstock occurred during a pandemic. That's mind-boggling.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your upcoming webinars and projects, Diane. I'm sure you'll be successful. You always are.
Thanks, Robyn. Yes, it is mind-boggling. You know those were not sanitary conditions.
DeleteSounds like a fascinating webinar.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the webinars, they sound very informative. Fascinating about Woodstock and the pandemic.
ReplyDeleteJust went to IWSG. Very helpful post.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in knowing how to set up a webinar. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for the Webinar. And, we had our first Writrs' Group meeting at the library since this mess began. We sat about 5 feet apart and no one wore a mask.
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
DeletePopping over to check out your post now. :-)

Enjoyed the webinar and highly recommend it, especially for those still trying to decide how they want to publish.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Looking forward to tonight.
DeleteI'm sure you've had to make lots of adjustments with your speaking schedule due to COVID. I hope the webinars work out for you!
ReplyDeleteGreat webinars. I have signed up for the next two.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be a popular theme for webinars at the moment. Super handy. And perfect timing. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat webinars. I'm sure the second will be as good.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea about Woodstock occurring during a pandemic. Good luck with your webinars!
