Publishing Tidbits and Interviews

I have an interview today at Susan Whitfield’s BLOG. The author of many books, she’s a fellow NC resident and a delightful person. Please stop by her site and say hello.

My cats, Rocko and Spunky, were interviewed by Shelly Arkon’s dogs at her BLOG last Thursday. I was out of town Thursday and Friday for a seminar and didn’t get the link up until lunch on Friday. If you didn’t get a chance to meet my two little black rats, please stop by her site.

If you’re looking for writing, publishing, and promoting tips, visit Elizabeth S Craig every Sunday when she posts Twitter links to hundreds of resources. She and Mike Fleming also manage the Writer’s Knowledge Database, the LARGEST online database for writers. Articles, tips, resources - it’s all there at your fingertips.

I won a signed copy of Searching for Arthur from Donna Hosie on Saturday. Thank you so much, Donna.

I also won a copy of Carolyn J. Rose’s No Substitute for Money at Patricia Stoltey’s blog. Thank you Carolyn and Patricia. Since this was the second time I’d won her book (what are the odds of that happening?) I gifted it to my mother-in-law.

And a drop for those of you still seeking rain…

  7. I know Elizabeth has quite a lot of articles archived for writers but I didn't realize she and Mike ran the Writers knowledge Database.

I love winning books and I've found some good authors that way.

  20. I could really use some rain now. I don't mind the heat in NorCal - except my A/C isn't keeping up with the heat wave - but I'm totally a rain lover.

    I'll check out your interviews.

  21. Hi Diane .. we've had a splash here, but simply not enough!! Elsewhere they've had some heavy doses of the spatters .. the thunder is rattling in the English Channel!

It sounds as though you've moved blog house - or are having lots of blog holidays ... then presents are pouring in .. sounds like it's your week ...

Cheers and I'll be over to read yours and the cats' interviews .. Hilary

  27. Hi Diane,

Nice to note that you have been interviewed over at Susan's blog. Time permitting, I shall have a visit there.

I noted and commented on the interview Rocko and Spunky had with Sir Poops and Hair Ball. A pawsitive interview, indeed!

Congrats on winning that signed copy from Donna and that copy of Carolyn's book.

We just had rain here in England for the first time in three weeks. Thunder lightning and a trembling Jack Russell dog.

    Take care, Diane.

  31. Jo, that's a beautiful spot. What route are you taking to get there?

LD, I think we've had our yearly rainfall already, and hurricane season hasn't even arrived.

Gary, sorry the storm scared Penny.

Armchair Squid, thanks, I will check it out.

  33. We cross at Peace Bridge, head to Erie, then south to Pittsburg, then east on PA turnpike. Get off a Breezewood and then take 70 toward Washington, then 85 south to Winchester where we stop the night. Next day 17 to 95 and then all the way down to Selma where we take 70 east towards Morehead City.
