Friday Inspirational Photos - TSO

Since there wasn't a lot of publishing industry news outside of Amazon's announcement that they expected to sell 2 million less Kindle Fires than expected (and the fact that my husband and I both had the flu this week - the one time every five years we get sick!) I decided to end Christmas week with more photos from our seventh Trans Siberian Orchestra concert earlier this month. Enjoy!

  2. Snazzy pics! I didn't know anybody still played those V-shaped guitars. No school like the old school. =]

  4. Great shots. Sorry about the flu.

Diane, I was wondering the other day, what do you eat for Christmas Dinner?

  5. Some great concert photos. I'm always hearing such great things about TSO. Someday I'll at least catch one of their videos if not a live concert.

    Happy New Year!

  6. Nicole, it was with a point and shoot camera, but yes, I took them. Helps to be in the second row middle.

Milo, those guys have quite the collection.

    Alex, thankks.

Jo, I make myself a Tofurkey.

Lee, no concert videos - you're just going to have to go see them.

  12. First of all, I'm ever so sorry to read that you and your husband have been subjected to the flu. Never a good time, but now of all times. Hope you are both much better.

Those are incredible photos and I've heard excellent reviews of TSO. Nothing like having a great time listening to progressive rock.

In peace and Happy New Year,

    Gary

  13. It's not nice to be sick anytime but during the holidays is especially rough! Hope you both get better soon!

I hadn't heard about the slump in Kindle Fire sales. I wonder if the iPad is taking a bigger chunk than expected or if there are so many options now.

  16. Maurice, there is no other show like it, and I have been to a lot of concerts.

Gary, I think we have both reached the 'feeling human again' stage, which is a plus. TSO kicks off our Christmas season every year and they are not afraid to sing about the true meaning of Christmas.

Laura, we're feeling better today. And yes, the iPad 4, reduced price iPad 2, and the iPad Mini have taken a huge chunk from both Amazon and Microsoft.

  17. I'm sorry to hear that you and hubs have been ill. My wife is currently sick and I was sick for both of my two weeks off last year, so I know how little fun the holidays can be under those conditions. :(
On the other hand - great photos! I haven't seen these guys yet, but hope to do so one of these days. My 18 year old really digs them, so I know I can find someone to go with me. Feel better!

  22. James, I am better now, but nothing makes Christmas pass in a blur like being sick. And go with your kid - you won't regret it.

DL, nothing like being that close, is there?
