  7. Hi Diane .. I really can do without the green tree coiled pythons - they really are not my favourite creatures .. green dripping primal growth is fine ... without the additives ...

We're into primal growth here - straight down rain! I'm grateful ..

Thanks for the update re ebooks, Amazon, Apple et al ... always good to be reminded of what's going on around us ..

    Cheers Hilary

  8. Oh wow! Awesome photos.
I translate books to large print and braille for the RNIB in the UK and it's one demanding job.
I prefer real books to Kindle, though I can see the immediacy of eBooks.

  10. Summer, I didn't realize until I had them all together that there was so much green.

Hilary, we've had rain all day. Cool rain, which is better than warm, humid rain.

    Maurice, I love fluffy kittens!

  11. Did you take the photo of the moss covered tree in the PNW? There's a lot of that around here.

I don't like how Amazon has the stats combined with the US though. I'd rather see them separated.

  12. Very cool pictures. I heard about Apple, as I charge my iPod. Does anyone not have one of their products?

  15. Thanks for the links. I stopped working in a college library around about the time they were looking at getting more text books in digital format (the two weren't connected!) The new head librarian doesn't seem to be a fan of books and wants everything in ebook format. I hate the idea of going that far though.

Great photos, btw, but not to much the snake!

  18. M Pax, yes I did!

Susan, in the US, I imagine it's a rare household that doesn't have an Apple product.

Annalisa, especially when there are still so many issues.
