For the A to Z Challenge, my topic is leadership and goal-setting. I am posting short excerpts from my book, Overcoming Obstacles with SPUNK! The Keys to Leadership and Goal-Setting, along with an inspiring photo. Enjoy and dream big!
Energize
Do not forget to feed your physical body, either. Focus on healthy choices for your life. Exercise invigorates both body and mind, and it’s a great way to deal with stress. As your physical conditions improve, so will your self-esteem. You will feel energized and refreshed.
or have an espresso, just kidding!
ReplyDeletei need to exercise more but i've got a million excuses not to...
I've been exercising more the last few weeks and it's been working out well!
ReplyDeleteExercise really helps to shake off the cobwebs! I've written some of my best stuff after working out!
ReplyDeleteI do water aerobics at least three days a week. I'd be a slug if I didn't.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I need to exercise more and I know it.
ReplyDeleteJust never over do the exercise. I've got the eternal EBV which means I have to rest when there's a flare up. And when I've got my energy back, I have to gentle and low impact exercises.
ReplyDeleteGood post!

Go kitty! That reminds me. I need to spend more time exercising my fluff balls. I find it easy to excercise myself because if I don't, I don't sleep.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post. Its easy to fall into a cycle of sitting, not sleeping, and not eating right. Today I'm taking my walk. Its a 4.5 mile trek around the city lake that is invigorating form body and refreshing for the soul.
ReplyDeleteTo rid myself of stress I listen to relaxation cds. There are many exercises I can't do because of health problems but I do try to keep positive.
ReplyDeleteLoved your E word post.
Yvonne.
Hi! I love all the cat pics! Hope you are having fun with A to Z!
ReplyDeleteWell, I will say this, I wish I had the energy of a cat.
ReplyDeleteI can tell a difference in my writing when I go for long spans of time without exercising! Even a leisurely walk still does the trick! :)
ReplyDeleteI hit the gym several times a week!
ReplyDeleteI've noticed how since I've upped my workout routine, I've had more energy and drive to write. Great post.
ReplyDeleteGetting up to get another cup of coffee. That's what I need.
ReplyDeleteGreat cat pic too!
