Movie reviews!
UP – B (Too melancholy and a little odd. Yes, I know everyone else loved it...)
Drag Me To Hell – A- (It's not a slasher flick or torture porn - how refreshing!)
Outlander - A - (Why on earth this was NOT released in the movie theatre...! Great storyline, great actors, big budget, and most original monster you will ever see... Now available on DVD.)

And just for fun!

What song would YOU like to hear an American Idol sing?
For 70's week, I dare any of the contestants to sing Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog!"

  1. More good links - I especially enjoyed the ones on marketing. I don’t watch American Idol but one of my favorite 70’s songs is Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll.

  2. I didn't hear that about David Carradine. Last I heard he hung himself. You never know.

Good to know that "Drag Me to Hell" isn't a slasher film. I'm so sick of those, but I'm a big fan of Sam Raimi.

  5. Not sure of the exact title, but...I'm Henry the Eighth -- just 'cause I know all the words. I could sing along.

  6. Christina, if you're a Raimi fan, you won't be disappointed! His signature style is there and his creepy sound effects are so effective.

I'd like to see them sing some of the 1960s folk music...Joni Mitchell or Joan Baez. Now that is tough music to sing! Or maybe some Janis Joplin (I think that's been done, though).

  9. Allyn, I think the young girl in the top four sang a Joplin tune.
I just want to see a contestant try to get by with the lyrics for "Hair of the Dog" - I mean, they DO play it on the radio!
