And yet it is MY name and I'm proud of it (weird contradiction?). And also, I would almost feel silly using a pen name. So I haven't used one yet. Not that I have any books published yet. But, you know, I've thought about this topic quite a bit. :)Trishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16927558937796802496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11634512.post-5736996826451892642013-06-13T22:56:05.850-04:002013-06-13T22:56:05.850-04:00This comment has been removed by the author. Pseudonyms today aren't really meant to be kept secret, unlike back in the day when women authors in particular were pressured to publish under men's names. Nowadays it's more for marketing purposes, like Nora Roberts said.

I like when an author uses one name for all of his or her books, no matter the genre or target audience. Judy Blume and James Patterson come to mind! They've each published all over the genre and audience map, from picture books to adult books, all under the same name!

Happy reading and writing! from Laura Marcella @ Wavy LinesLaura S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13934230198562773803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11634512.post-69376197361944593262013-06-13T09:37:27.748-04:002013-06-13T09:37:27.748-04:00Great post!
